Begins week of October 26 (Div 1 - Oct 27; Div 2- Oct 29).
All level of play are welcome!
Same format as last year:
- There will be 7 teams in each of the Tuesday and Thursday night leagues. 6 teams will play per week, with 1 team having a “bye”.
- Teams will have 5 players, one of which will be designated as team captain
- Each week, positions 1 through 4 will play. The team captain will oversee coordinating who is playing what position, for their team, in any given week.
- All 6 teams will be playing at the same time: 2 on Court 1, 2 on Court 2, and 2 on Court 3, until all matches are done. For example:
- Team A vs. Team B on Court 1, playing positions 1 through 4
- Team C vs. Team D on Court 2, playing positions 1 through 4
- Team E vs. Team F on Court 3, playing positions 1 through 4
- League matches will start at 6 pm, and we anticipate should be completed by 8 pm. The hope/expectation is that by being part of your league team, you show up from 6-8 to help coach, ref, and support your teammates
- There will be a weekly team prize (~$50 value) for the team with the greatest number of total points obtained across all their games that week – cheer on your teammates, every point counts!
- There will be a mid-season “league” tournament, which is included in your league registration
- And of course, per usual, there will team shirts for all players, season-long accumulation of points, and the resulting standings leading to playoffs in March.
